Parent & Family Participation
HOPE Charter
School is designed to be a community of parents, educators and
social services personnel working as a team to help “at risk”
students achieve their educational goals.
Volunteer time
Parents who enroll their children do so with the
understanding that their volunteer involvement is necessary to the
success of their child's overall academic and of the school.
The school requests every family provide 2 hours monthly of
volunteer service each year.

Parent / Student Handbook & Code of Conduct
This Parent / Student Handbook and the Code of Conduct are
provided to all parents and students when they first start at HOPE
Charter School.

Home and School Association
The HCS Home and School Association meets regularly and the dates
are printed in the Parent / Student Handbook.
Visits
Parents are always welcome to visit us, for an hour, several
hours or a whole day. You will be asked to show ID at the front
door, and we must have your name on our lists as a bona fide
visitor. (If you wish to have a meeting with a teacher or other
staff member, please make an appointment.)
Conferences
If you require a conference concerning your child, please use the
Conference Request Form that can be printed out and submitted to
your child’s social worker whenever you need to schedule a Parent
