- The School District of Philadelphia re-affirmed that it wants to keep the school open. However, in order for the SRC to be assured that we can successfully meet our mission of educating at risk youth, we are required to submit a plan of transformation and re-structuring. We are now looking at ways to submit such a plan that will accomplish this goal. The district also made it clear that they would prefer to negotiate a charter renewal with conditions, as opposed to going forward with an appeal and negotiation. School leadership is in the process of identifying the appropriate resources to assist in the development of the plan to be submitted to the SDP. The timeline for the submission of this plan is the end of May. Any staff interested in providing input into the plan and anyone that may have any questions should see Mr. Worley. Thanks for your ongoing support and effort during this very difficult time.
