Enrollment Process

Since March 1, 2008, applications have been accepted and places offered in the order in which the applications were received, so long as there has been space in the appropriate grade. We define the “date on which an application is received” as the date on which all required material is submitted.

If all material is received but there are no openings, students are placed on a wait list, ordered in the sequence of date received. You may call 267 336 2730 ext 5112 or ext 5104 to find your child’s position on the wait list, or email chaprich@hotmail.com

We admit new students in groups, usually once a month. All students and parents receive orientation and the students are tested. The first full day of school is usually the day following the orientation. If a student and/or parent does not attend orientation without any prior communication with school, the student is returned to the wait list for the next possible entry date.

The Open Enrollment period is November 1, 2007 - February 28, 2008.

Applications will be accepted in all grade levels.

If the number of applications exceeds the number of available spaces for any grade level, a random lottery will be held to determine who is admitted. Families will be notified within 14 days of the close of the Open Enrollment period if their student has been accepted or if a lottery will be held. Families who are sent an acceptance letter will be given a specific time frame to respond. If the school does not receive a response during the time frame outlined, the applicant will be removed from the accepted list and placed on the waitlist.
