HOPE Dress Code
Students must have a full uniform, which is differentiated by the
student’s grade.
Students are expected to be in uniform whenever they are in school or at a
school activity, regardless of the location. All tops must
be purchased through HOPE Charter School. The
uniform is:
Boys:
Black dress pants (no “Dickies” or oversized pants);
9th grade: yellow shirts with HCS logo
10th grade: light blue shirts with HCS logo
11th grade: green shirts with HCS logo
12th grade: royal blue shirts with the HCS logo
On Tuesdays, all boys are required to wear professional attire consisting of
black, navy blue, gray, or tan dress pants, a button-down shirt, and a tie.
Students should be aware of the design on the shirt and the tie and ensure
that it meets the professional dress expectations.
Girls:
Black skirts or black slacks (skirts should no shorter than two inches above
the knees and must not be tightly fitted)
9th grade: yellow shirts with HCS logo
10th grade: light blue shirts with HCS logo
11th grade: green shirts with HCS logo
12th grade: royal blue shirts with HCS logo
On Tuesdays, all girls are required to wear professional attire consisting
of black, navy blue, gray, or tan dress pants or skirts, and a button-down
shirt. Students should be aware of the design on the shirt and ensure that
it meets the professional dress expectations.
Students are also required to wear:
Plain black shoes or plain black boots or plain black sneakers
All undershirts must be tucked in.
No earrings larger than a quarter.
No denim wear is allowed!
Excessive jewelry and alterations to the uniform will not be tolerated
